This includes the creation of several foundations and research institutes: Lumo Skëndo - Foundation for Historical Studies; Kujto.al - Online Archive of the Victims of Communism in Albania; Spartaku i Tiranës - Football Club for children in need; Link Academy - Foundation for freer training possibilities and practicing experience in Digital World in Albania; other ideas are on their way to be established.
The focus of the Foundation is on Albania's collective consciousness of the communist era, through a new and inclusive approach: working closely with citizens, leveraging technology and communication opportunities.
The Online Archive www.kujto.al serves as a layout of all of the work and activity: research, study, document as fully as possible the facts related to victims and crimes of the communist period and to reflect them in an interactive way; to then continue with publications, educational and awareness raising initiatives, or undertaking legal initiatives that lead to the most impartial and objective recognition of the crimes of communism.
Kujto.al is a Tirana-based nonprofit Foundation created and founded in 2018.
The mission of this Institute is to promote studies about the history of Albania, mainly related to the period of Independence, World War II, the period of the communist and post-communist regimes. The main purpose is to research, study and publish an unwritten history, while at the same time repairing the alienated and falsified Albanian history from the communist regime and historiography.
Institute of Historical Studies "Lumo Skëndo" is a non-profit and does not carry out any activity of a political or religious nature.
KF Spartaku Tiranë was founded in 1946, and after was dissolved in 1959, was refounded and legally re-established in 2012. The club currently competes in the Albanian Second Division.
The name of the club Spartacus is the symbol of the endless warrior for equality and human justice, evoking its fighting spirit, fairness, honesty and equality.
